Abstract

Music, a universal form of human expression, profoundly affects the human mind. This article explores the scientific understanding of how music influences cognitive processes, emotional responses and neurological structures. We review psychological, neurobiological, and sociocultural evidence, examining how music affects mood regulation, memory, cognitive performance and brain plasticity. We also discuss the therapeutic applications of music in clinical settings and the potential for music to enhance learning and well-being.
