Abstract

This paper analyzes the types of fabrics used for clothing products, as well as their seasonal, hygienic, physical-mechanical, and operational properties. The criteria for selecting fabrics for household, children’s, sports, military, and hospital clothing are examined, along with the thickness, weight, and heat-retention characteristics of clothing packages. In addition, the structure, application areas, and technological possibilities of modern materials such as synthetic padding and carbon fiber are considered. The study experimentally analyzes the heat-generating properties of carbon fiber and substantiates the possibility of using it in smart clothing, particularly in the production of heated jackets for children.
